SEO Specialist? 🤷
Current Job Role: SEO Manager at Hovia
I’m an SEO specialist (I use that term loosely, as there’s always more to learn!) based in Liverpool.
I’m the SEO Manager for Milexa Group, driving the company’s overall organic search strategy, covering everything from on-page optimisation and outreach to technical SEO.
Digital marketing experience
Having originally trained as a journalist, I graduated with an MSc in Digital Marketing from Chester University.
I’ve worked in-house as an all-around digital marketer and on the agency side as a search marketing specialist (SEO & PPC).
Why I love SEO
I love that working in SEO there’s always a new problem to solve, a new challenge to overcome, or a new skill to learn.
SEO is a fantastic sandbox for anyone with a testing mindset, interested in discovering what makes a winning website.
Finally, the community is packed with amazing people trying and sharing new ideas, driving us all forward.

I can also occasionally be found contributing as an SEO expert over on the SEMRush blog or the odd tech SEO article here and there.
